Judit Cserny

Candidate

I was born and raised in Debrecen, but since then I have taken a somewhat adventurous path. I first graduated as a linguist but then after a few detours I moved to Ireland, where I studied Genetics. In 2010, I relocated to Florida to pursue my PhD, and in 2018 I moved to Boston.

Shortly after moving to Boston, I became involved in the events organized by the Hungarian Society and later began contributing to their planning and execution. As I enjoy cooking, I often help with food preparation at the festivals. Last year, I also started teaching at Boskola, where I lead the “Hungarian as a Foreign Language” group for children.
