Candidate

I was born in Veszprém in 1974, and since my grandparents also lived by Lake Balaton (Balatonfűzfő, Balatonalmádi), my childhood and youth were defined by the attraction of the lake. Most of my free time was spent on the beach, fishing, and sailing, and to this day, we eagerly return home to instill in our children a love for the Balaton region and Hungary.

In 1997, I graduated as a biologist from ELTE, and immediately found a job in the pharmaceutical industry, first briefly as a researcher, and since 2000, as a drug developer. During my work, I lived and worked for 5 years in Italy (Milan, Florence), 5 years in Switzerland (Geneva), and since 2013, we have been living in the USA (Boston).

I met my wife, who is a pharmacist from Montpellier, southern France, in Geneva. In the spring of 2013, we had our wedding at the Tihany Abbey, and the celebration was in Balatonfüred. I am the proud father of three daughters: Izabella was born in France in 2013, Lujza in 2015, and Gabriella in 2017, both born in the USA. Since 2017, the girls have been attending Hungarian school (Boskola), and since 2023, they have also been participating in Scouts.

As it is important for us that our children experience their Hungarian identity and feel connected to Hungary, we gladly participate in and support events organized by Boskola, the Scouts, and the Hungarian Society of Massachusetts.
