Róbert Gyurcsán

Representative of the Scout Troop on the Society’s Board without voting rights.

I have held a leadership role in the Gábor Bodnár Scout Troop No. 2 of Boston for nearly 10 years: first serving the scouts as a patrol leader, then as an assistant scoutmaster, and since 2023, as the Troop commissioner.

I grew up in New Hampshire, then moved to Massachusetts for university, graduating from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Civil Engineering. In the fall of 2024, I began my career as a structural engineer in Connecticut. Although I now live in Connecticut, I continue to participate actively in the Scouts and events of the Massachusetts Hungarian community.

I have been the representative for the Scout Troop on the Society’s Board since 2023.
