Kata Tari

Candidate

My name is Kata Tari, and I have been living in the United States since 2019 with my husband, Balázs. We began our life abroad in Pennsylvania and later found a new home in Massachusetts, along with a community where it truly feels good to belong.

My professional career is rooted in the field of Human Resources: I previously worked in training coordination and organizational development. Through my work, structured thinking and connecting people with processes became my strengths, and I have always aimed to turn individual values into collective strength. My legal studies have further helped me refine my ability to focus on what truly matters and to continuously develop these skills.

In 2024, I joined the Boskola preschool group. Together with Vera and Brent, we are delighted to work on sharing Hungarian culture, traditions, and the experience of community with the youngest generation in an engaging and loving way. Over the past two years, I have also participated in several events, where I was able to experience firsthand the diversity and strength of our community.

What would I bring to the leadership?

  • Strategic perspective and experience

  • Practical, actionable ideas

  • Active connection to cultural life in Hungary

  • Conscious community building, with special attention to involving families with young children

  • Openness to collaboration and support for new initiatives

I believe that a community is not merely a series of programs, but a living connection. I would like to work for an organization, where every generation finds its place — one that preserves our traditions while also being capable of renewal.

For me, community service is both a responsibility and an opportunity — a responsibility to preserve our values, and an opportunity to make the Hungarian community of New England even stronger together.

Thank you for your trust.
